Abstract

In this paper, a sensor less fuzzy logic based vector control is proposed to control the induction motor for water pumping system. As a result of which it is superior to conventional motor drive estimated stator flux is used to calculate speed. An array of solar photovoltaic (PV) has been presented as well as an inverter, a motor, and a pump assembly. The Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm is based on Incremental Conductance (InC). Here Fuzzy based vector control of an induction motor allows for smooth starting of the motor. The desired configuration is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink Software and results has been presented.
